Theatre Arts - Theatre Design and Production Emphasis, B.F.A.

Requirements

2020欧洲杯夺冠热门In the Bachelor of Fine Arts program, Acting students receive extensive training in acting, voice, movement, and auditioning, while Musical Theatre students receive extensive training in movement, dance, and vocal and singing technique, as well as acting. Theatre Design and Production students receive extensive design in conceptualization, stage management, costuming, lighting, makeup, scenic design, and rendering.

  1. Completion of a minimum of 125 semester credits; a minimum of 40 credits must be upper division.
  2. Overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  3. Residency hours--minimum of 30 credit hours through course attendance at UVU, with at least 10 hours earned in the last 45 hours.
  4. Completion of GE and specified departmental requirements.
  5. Successful completion of at least one Global/Intercultural course.

The Department of Theatrical Arts for Stage & Screen at Utah Valley University is an engaged training ground that cultivates and challenges driven and versatile individuals to become artistically and professionally literate. To deliver this outcome, we practice collaborative learning in the history, genres, methods, and technologies in the field of theatre, as well as sincere and responsive mentorship and innovative productions.
